A useful way to organize new vocabulary words that you are adding to your memory banks is to collect words by categories. Instead of calling these "vocabulary categories," we've coined a new term: "Vocab-tegories."

Here are some to get you started. You can collect words in as many other categories as you want!

Write a dictionary definition next to the word if you'd like to. Best of all, write a sentence in which you use the new word. That's the best way to really make a new word your own.

There's a suggested word at the top of each category to get you started.

How many more categories can you think of, and add?
