5-Step Spelling Word Study

 

            Today's Snack: Build a tower with five crackers and see if you can cram it into your mouth! Lay out five saltine crackers, spread peanut butter on top of four of them. Open wide, and enjoy! And wash it down with a big glass of water.

Supplies:

Print out this reminder chart for use in studying spelling words.

Make a "deck" of words you know out of index cards. Can you learn 100 new words?

 

Eye Clip Art                     1. See the word.

 

                    2. Say the word aloud.

 

 

 

Back Hand Clip Art                  3. Cover up the word.

        4. Write the word.

 

                 5. Check it: touch each letter and

say it aloud. Got it wrong?

Repeat the 5 steps.
